How can I enter special characters in address field for visitor visa application

I have enter this number - 4A/2 in applicant address field , but the IRCC application not accepting /, So If I apply like 4A2 my address get differed from ID proof, can anyone advise please

Use a dash (-) instead of a slash (/).

It's already hard to differentiate so I'd just do another dash. If you want, you could try a different symbol that is accepted, but I can't suggest what will.

I suspect if they see the address on other documents it will be clear enough.

If you think it's that important, add a short letter of explanation.

To enter special characters like / in the IRCC address field, you should try replacing the / with a space or leave it out altogether, as the system may not accept slashes. If the address 4A/2 is important for matching your ID, try entering it as 4A 2 or 4A2. However, if the application still doesn’t accept the format, contact the IRCC support team for guidance on how to proceed without causing discrepancies with your ID proof.
