We are almost in desperate situation ! if CIC delay another half year , we still can do nothing.


Call CIC , the answer always same, please call again .

Try to find media, media only care if your story is touchable enough or not, comparing with refugees. And the point is, media story after one week will become from News to Olds.


Sounds like contact with Local MP is the only way in which you can get continuous response. ( other member in this forum said, I just believe it )

if so , how about let's Change our mail format by a little to MP ?


How about all of us list the MP contact way here , if you already wrote an email to your local MP and give your timeline here too.

And if anyone (new or again ) try to want email to their Local MP

They can refer these data to let their local MP know, it is not a single case, it is a general problem .

and they may talk with other MP if we give these reference .

if all the MP treat it as a topic after tea.

Soon or later , We can increase the chance that we will figure out what's the real slow reason at least .

I'm not looking for a response. I want the new minister to take a note of the number of applicants waiting, and change the priorities.

Local MPs can only get us status updates. They cannot influence CIC's activities.

Everyone have different situation , not everyone think they should or have to take a step like this.

Someone just wait others to trigger it to avoid any possible trouble .

We need figure out a way , all of us willing to do .

I think writing email to MP is one of them .

first of all, you just complain this to MP , not CIC , avoid directly conflict , or get space to safe something if some improper words spoke out to CIC VO .


as individual , everyone can just write in his manner, someone maybe looks urgent or desperate ,someone maybe just some lightly query .

BTW: I really hope miracle happen in next second , I hate do all of this thing too .

my case doesn't arrive 14 months, when it arrived, I will try to write an email to local MP if old CEC still no move.
