Hi,

Can somebody tell, when VO (HongKong particularly) mails you COPR and passport with visa, do they email you the tracking number?
Or it just arrives one wonderful day in your mail box?

Thanks a lot!

I just went through this. I can tell you for sure that they won't email you the tracking number, unless it has exceeded the expect delivery time ( 3 weeks).

If your application has been "decision made" longer than 3 weeks, you can email CIC HK and ask for the tracking number.

Hope this helps.

Thank you samsun387! I btw followed you thread on HK Post - your mail package had materialized at last, my sincere congratulations!

May I ask you one more question - I understand that in your case it was aprox. 5 weeks from the "decision made" and until you received the package.
How long was it from the day HK received you passport and until you saw "decision made"? HK received our passport 3 weeks ago, and we are still "in process"
The passport request letter that HK sent us says it takes approx. 20 work days to return your passport, and then, a couple of blocks down, the very same letter says 60 work days. Go figure...

Thank you and congratulations one more time!

My application became decision made on may 16, and the mail left Hong Kong on may 15. ;D

Thanks a lot! Checked out the status yesterday and it had changed for DM! Hopefully it won't take long for the passport to reach Canadian shores...
