May I ask how you received the letter from IRCC to arrange the PCC with HK Police?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help.

You would receive a message in myCIC. The letter itself is a pdf file.

Got PPR request today, preparing to send my passports later this week ;)

If I were you, I would have left my office immediately and rush to send my passport right away :D

Hi Guys,

i'm working overseas right now and have received ITA last week. I understand that the HK police needs a letter from the Canadian government to issue the no criminal record certificate, among other documents.

I've all else ready except this letter from the CA govt. Any idea where I can get it?

I still need to complete personal and travel history. Would I be able to see this letter after completing my application or is it available somewhere already?

Thanks a lot.

hi guys,

I have received ITA and filled in the required information for my eAPR, now at the upload document stage. I have below questions about medical exam & police check -

1. For the medical exam, it stated "upfront medical exam" is required, however, just now I have called UMP Healthcare (seems like it is the only designated panel clinic in HK) to make an appointment, the lady said starting from Mar 2, they no longer do upfront medical exam for Canada PR applicants. What can I do?

2. For the police check, I saw from the cic website that since HK police needs to have the letter issued by Canada, so we just need to upload a document stating that “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from CIC to get a police certificate.”. So that would be sufficient enough?

Thanks a lot.

1. i have seen several people posting about the same issue as yours. As far as I could understand that change in March is only for the family sponsorship. Tell the doctor that u apply via EE and Non-EDE worker can be chosen as the check type for the e-medical system.
2. try to search the forum, there were plenty of posts on this.

good luck!

Thank you. I have tried to contact the clinic again in this regards, the staff insisted even for non-EDE worker applying thro EE, as long as it's a PR application, regardless it's for the principle applicant or spouse, now they don't do upfront medical anymore. This is really frustrating. Did anyone encountered the same?

I don't live in Hong Kong so I am not familiar with their systems. But if it's not too much of a hassle, I guess you can try doing it in Guangzhou or Shenzhen.

Hello Guys,
I am in FSW EE stream. I apply from HONG KONG, and currently work in HONG KONG. I receive a message from IRCC asking me for HONG KONG police certificates.
The headache is the mailing address is not provided, which I already mentioned for HONG KONG criminal check when I submitted my supporting documents online.
Therefore, two possible mailing address in my mind, one is sydney in NS,(there are so many PO BOX address, and there is no one for fsw express entry), the other one is
Canadian consulate in hong kong (I guess this one). so can some one experienced the same problem what I have now share your solution?
Million thanks in advance

I have never heard of them not providing a mailing address for HK PCC. (because it's an auto-generated message)

I think you should call IRCC and ask.
