So cool ! May I ask where is your residence city?

My background check status changed to "In Progress", although review of submitted documents is still "We need an additional document from applicant"

I would not worry too much about that. I received PPR the other day and the "Review of submitted documents" section still says "Provided" instead of "Received". Background check changed to IP is a very good sign. You may very well receive PPR next week!

Hi There,

I am based in Beijing. Could I also be added to the WhatsApp group?

Seniors, I have a question with IMM 5409 (Statutory Declaration of Common Law Partnership).
At the bottom of the form there is a space for 1. Notary Public 2. Commissioner of Oaths 3. Commissioner of Taking Affidavits. Which one did you choose ? Or didn't choose?

Hi guys,

How did you get the PoF from you bank? (My bank is Hang Seng but I'm not in Hong Kong right now so I haven't had a chance to ask them in person). Do they know "automatically" know what to provide you or you have to give them the detailed instructions? Thanks.

Express Entry - Permanent Residents

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).

I got my POF from both HSBC and Citibank, they had ready templates for reference letters, it is not 100% as per CIC requirements but you can attach your latest six months bank statements and you should be fine
