Hi Tom2016,

Congrats to your wife on receiving DM. I am also a HKVO applicant. File transfer to HKVO on January 2016. Medical, RPRF and additional docs submitted on Feb, 2016. Still waiting for DM. Eagerly waiting for any news from HKVO. Please pray for us.

Thanks and regards,

Eusufzai

Wow! So fast!

Congrats!

Anyone has any idea usually after seeing ECAS changed to DM, how long it takes to get the email or CORP?

Thanks

If you are from a visa-exempt country.
AND status has changed to DM.

if you have not received anything after 4 weeks. Send an IRCC webform to Hong Kong.

Our CoPR was lost in the mail and they resent it and we got it within a week.

If you are not in a visa-exempt country,
You have to wait for the PPR Request.

finally my wife got the email for submitting passport! I checked the cic status, and her status has changed to DM.

good luck to everyone!

Here is my timeline. I hope it gives an idea for anyone who is still waiting how much longer it will take.

Is the COPR included in the package when they send back the passport with the visa? Just curious.

You should have paid for the RPR in advance and attached the receipt with the application!!Then you should receive your COPR by now!! anyways, it shouldn't be long for you to receive it! good luck :)

Like you I did everything up front, paid the money, did the medicals.

Only problem with doing the medicals up front is that once the COPR is approved you have to activate it before the 1 year anniversary of your medical.

So if you do your medical on January 1st and the process take almost a year you basically have to rush over and activate or you may run the risk of having to go through the whole process again.

somehow, we paid only $550 at the beginning and attached the receipt with the application package. (totally forgot why I didn't pay it in advance ::))
keep my fingers crossed!

thank you! :-*
