Hi everyone,

I can see that my wife's (PA) status is now decision made (changed on Friday). But when we check, there are no notes in her ECAS. She is a mainland citizen. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for them to get in touch with the PA on average? Thanks.

Your wife will probably get an email on Monday or soon after. Our email actually came a few hours before DM.

Just checked our status this morning, and it is DM now. Hope we will get our PPR today or tomorrow.

So everyone can know, my wife is a mainland chinese citizen, and has never travelled or lived anywhere outside of mainland china.

Probably that is why ours is still missing in action - she studied in the states for a few yrs.

Mine studied overseas for a while too. Next week will be a year from when we submitted our application. Hoping to get our PPR really soon.

Ours already passed 1 year - im extremely pissed off at the unfairness of the whole process. Im thinking of writing a letter to the minister and ccing my MP and ask why some get to speed to the head of the line while others have to wait forever.

I am going to write to John McCallum at some point as well. It does seem very unfair, but I think for most cases, there are reasonable explanations as to why there is a time difference. The biggest issue is lack of transparency in the process, which leads many people to start guessing why things are the way they are.

Ya mine passed a year too but I had interview so that caused some delays for sure .

Hey guys,
my wife's application got approved. She has a visitors visa already, do you guys know if she still requires another visa for landing/PR ?

Just receive Decision Made in e-cas today, waiting for PPR email now

Application filed on Sept 20, 2015 :P

Congrats!!!

We got our PPR today. Finally after almost 3 years(first application failed) we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Our immigration consultant has put together a really nice package for us, to make it easy to send. Also of note, the fees have gone up in price, and we have been told it will be 215.5rmb.
