Congrats! I got my COPR today, will plan on a trip to the states then come back to land soon.

Congratulation!

And I just checked my mailbox and got my COPR today too. They mailed it on Nov 15 , and it arrived my post office on the Nov 19. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know if I can land during weekend across Canada and the state? Does the CIC border for landing operate 24/7??

I am in Edmonton Alberta. Planning to land from Carway US border. SO as long as its office hours show 24/7, then their immigration service is the same?

I would assume so, you should call them to confirm!

Congrats siuanna and benitaagogo!! I just landed by flagpoling today. Took 30 mins ish in waiting. Apparently I don't need to apply for the PR card (no need to submit an application or photos). They will mail the PR card to me in 6-8 weeks! Is it same for many of you?

Anyway, good luck to the rest of the people here on getting their COPR!

Congrats all!!! We will come back in 2 weeks and land at YVR airport!

Yes it will take around 6 weeks as the officer said. He asked me for the address PR card sending to. Therefore, no need to apply. However, for the driver license, I can only get it when PR card arrived

Thank you ymserver again for sharing your experience, we haven't planned on how we are gonna land yet but I'm glad to know that we can skip the step of submitting the application and photos!

I am not sure but try to land within business hour as this officer after business hour may not experience dealing with landing. Working during business hour would be more smart, and more energy to deal with, less chance to miss steps

Thank you for sharing your experience here too! Yeah I agree, less hassle in taking more photos, paying fees, and mailing procedures.

Did you provide any Taiwan address or just the mailing address in AB? Was the COPR sent directly from hkvo or Ottawa? Thanks.

I only provided the mailing address in AB (I think you can only provide one mailing address) and COPR was sent directly from HKVO.

One of the form I wrote my address in Taiwan that I used to lived and on the other form about family members I wrote my brother and mom's address in English and Mandarin but they weren't considered the mailing address.

Amazing so happy for you guys!!!!
