After I got DM 12 days ago, I haven't received either any mail or email.....I have ordered a note 27 days ago, but hasn't received it neither....

is it reasonable to assume that they have sent me the CORP in mail? given I am in Canada now and having valid work permit as well as TRV?

nonetheless, I think the good new should be around the corner, as well as for everyone submited in Dec.

Hey Guys,

Got back from my trip to China with all of my wife's belongings 8). Will give you guys an update in case this helps anyone.

On October 6, while I was in China they phoned her and asked if she would be able to land in Canada before Nov 5 and she said yes. They told her it would be processed ASAP.

This Monday, we were worried they forgot us and we phoned and emailed them. The response was a generic email to be patient and they told us it could take 1-2 months to process the application. On Tuesday, the Beijing VAC tracking status changed to show the COPR had shipped back. Last night my wife received her COPR in the mail and it only took 1 day to ship via EMS according to the Beijing VAC.

We booked the flight tickets today for her to land in Toronto on October 30, 2015 and have the Airport VIP service escort her to her connecting flight since it's her first time in the country. My family will all be waiting for her arrival and it feels so good this day is almost here!!!

Keep up the pressure on them guys, don't let them forget about you. If you keep asking, they will speed up your application. Stay positive vanhk, your time will come soon!!!

So you didn't have a copy of COPR when you travelled back to Canada with your wife's belongings. Did Canada Customs ask you any questions about your wife's stuff? Or did you even bother to mention the stuff as you didn't acquire them as new goods? I'll be doing the same in January, before my wife will have COPR so I am wondering if any problems or questions when I am returning with 2 full suitcases.

No, I didn't have the COPR with me because my wife will need it when she lands in Canada. They were going to examine my bags (brought 2 giant suitcases and 2 personal bags) until I told them that one of the suitcases had a tuxedo and wedding dress inside. I think it's because I declared a silk bedset as $400 but when the next agent saw me and I told him about my wife, he waved me out of there ;D As long as your honest about everything you won't have any trouble at all Just make sure you have extra time between flights so that your not in a rush.

Thanks vank , your doing great so far. I would say keep trying with your MP, but they will need a couple weeks since the election was so recent. I know they can push your application through once you get their attention. Since your emails don't seem to be getting through with HKVO, I would suggest phoning them and making your case. When I contacted them, I said we had a wedding booked in Canada in November. Use any reason to give them motivation to make your case stand out from the rest. You can do it, just keep trying.

This past month, I was dealing with the Beijing VAC and they were alot easier to communicate with.

Hey guys, can I ask why you guys are approaching your MPs? Do you mean MPs in your riding? In Canada? I have sent in my request for police cert, passport photos, and medical report. But since police cert takes 28 days, I'm guessing it won't be until another month at least. My husband is already here and can't work until it passes through, so I am feeling pretty anxious as well

11 months already! Medical is still not received, it is expiring on 8th of November, and the interview is coming on 9th of November.

We never received an AOR2....so nerve wrecking. What if our documents got lost during the transfer between CIC Canada and CIC Hong Kong?

You should have ordered physical case (ATIP) notes, then you would see if it was accepted or not at HKVO

Ask not what your MP can do for you, ask what you can do for your MP!
And on a more serious note, what is your issue? MP in general can help to move a file which sits without processing for unreasonably long time.
