Are you requesting HKVO send back your passport to HK? If yes, is someone could able collect the registered mail on behalf of you at HKpost office?
Did you try to phone cic-Canada there is some agents online answering questions.

I think different mailing address is OK. I am sending my passport to CPC Ottawa with Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes used Canada address for my passport return. My mailing address always in Hong Kong.

What is the form number of mailing address form?
Wondering the email request also police cert. Better attached the receipt of HK police cert. while you return the mailing address form.

I sent my passport via online (PDF copy). COPR/visa will send to my HK address and my parent will collet for me
I am also wondering it is a police cert. request too? or it is a normal email? Because the email didn't show the deadline...

HKVO sent me a WORD file for the "mailing address form".

Confirmation of Permanent Residence
When an immigrant is approved for permanent residence in Canada, they receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence document. An immigration officer at the port of entry or a CIC office signs and dates this document when permanent residence is finally granted. This document is used by permanent residents to show to provincial and territorial organizations in order to access services. There is an immigration category printed on this document.

As long as the original passport with you, mailing address is not a big issue. You will receive COPR either in HK and Canada address both are valid.
I think you should give them your HK address with a letter to explain your current situation.

I didn't get a medical request yet and it expires October 31. Do you think that means we will both have DM before then?

How does the medical work tho? If I get DM then I don't have to do another one? I thought you have to land before the medical results expires.

I got DM on the 25th day (HK Tue) after the 2nd medical, the same day I rec'd PPR email.
Send IME receipt to HKVO (not a must) as a warm reminder (little pushing).

I used the hkvo enquiry webpage and uploaded the emedical sheet the doctor gave me as proof.
