My application is "In process" on September 15 and I received a police report document request on September 17th. HK office received my original police report on September 22. They never asked for the passport. It has been three weeks since the system went to "in process" and two weeks since they received the requested document. Does everyone know when I will get the passport request?

GCMS notes come today. The notes is updated to Sept. 27, looks like our file has not been touched. Unfortunately the medical expires Oct. 21. Do I make arrangements now to re-do medical now or do I have to wait until someone actually open our file and then they request?

Most of the times, since the medical expired while it was in process, they will make decision one month before the expiry or extend the medical. Don't worry

a bit of update -

I got the COPR ON 26 Sept, 2 weeks after the passport was sent.

I read from others that the applicant address in Ecas will either change just before or after DM to future Canadian address. So I wonder if your address has changed or not. Is your pp sent to a HK address, if so can you let us know how many days to receive COPR after DM. Thanks.

My passport will not be sent to HK, but I still will update my timeline for your reference. So I see you went into decision made already. Was the mailing address changed to Canada address already?

No, it's still showing my current HK address. I am also waiting for COPR, it could be any day now. How about you, address changed yet?

my hubby received the COPR and it has indicated the destination to vancouver BC, due to my canada home address is Vancouver BC while we submit the application.
As we plan to stay and look for jobs in Calgary AB after moving to Canada, and if we have a Calgary rental agreement before we moving back, does anyone know whether my hubby can land Calgary AB, instead of Vancouver BC?
Then, we could save a of time and cost in moving from BC to AB again.

I just received my COPR. ;D. The mailing addressstill remains the same. The visa valid date is May 19 2015. Does that mean I shall land by that date? But my medical was done in March 2014. I was under the impression the visa would be good untill the medical expiry date....

Passport sent -Sep15 2014
DM - Sep 27 2014
COPR - Sep 23 2014
Passport received - Oct 8 2014

Best wishes to all of you.. :D :D

Congrats for the COPR! Just wonder where do you live currently? in HK or Canada (which city)? I am trying to estimate how long it takes to receive the registered mail from HKVO after the DM status is shown on e-cas.

Thanks!

After 6 months 12 days, we finally received the COPR today. Original photos were not returned, only passport, COPR and a letter. I am so relieved now. Thanks to everyone on this forum, it has been a great help! I will post my detailed timeline later. Best of luck to all those still waiting for PPR and DM.

COPR issued Sept 30
DM Oct 03
Visa sent on Oct 07
COPR received Oct 08 (HK)

I live in Hong Kong. I didn't check the status on e-cas regularly, so no idea when my status was changed to DM.
