Has anybody had experience with an interview in HK? My wife has been requested for an interview in HK in less than 2 months. I also have to be available by phone. We have been looking forward to hearing from HK but now that we have, it feels a bit scary to know they will interview us. Any advice anybody can give would be appreciated. Anybody know what percent of interviewed people are approved?

Thank you BunnyB. I can't read Chinese too much, but I can use Google translate and get the idea and also, I can send it to my wife and it will be very helpful to her I think. Thanks very much.

What is the full name of HHR?

Thx guys
BTW,I submitted my police cert thru global police in Apr,n I called them just now, they said they sent it in may to glib.n they refused to send it again

The weird thing is,I got the first mail requesting for police cert at 12:51then 13:09 I got the mail for ppr
Should I just ignore the police cert one?Seems like the first step they didn't find my police cert then 20min later they found it so request my passport??

Please help

I don't think that means they find your police cert after 20 minutes. You can just email cic and ask what do they mean.

BTW...not sure what do you mean by “global police” ... have you ever stayed in another country more than 6 months? maybe cic is requesting for one from another country.

Sorry it was a typo
Hk police, my phone just auto corrected it

Called hk police again, they said they guess it might be cic didn't wanna check my police cert with different uci so yeah
I emailed hkvo already

Hi,

My wife's PR application is in process at Hong Kong office at this moment and we just moved to a new place a while ago. We'd like to update the new address with the visa office but the case specific enquiry for HKVO is not working right now. Just wondering how do people here communicate with the HKVO? Just reply to the email address that sent out the AOR letters for HKVO? Thanks.
