Just wondering is the AOR1 email the first thing you will get back from CIC?
And that will be sent to the sponsor's email address?

domisuohappy,

May I know when did u send yr passport to HKVO?

Since the process time getting longer and longer. I almost have no hope to get my PR before July 2015. My whole family will returning to Cdn in July preparing a new school year for 3 kids.
Should I stay in BC to wait for my passport request from HKVO, or I should change my address while we move back to Canada? It is quite impossible I leaving my 3 kids with my husband in BC for 4 weeks.

Could anyone give me advice? :'( :'(

I've the same concern as you, whether we can stay in BC before receiving the passport request.

Hope someone in this forum could give us some insight on that.

Thanks Ian! I am still contacting different companies for quotes. I have contacted Regal World (www.regalworld.com.hk) and Baltrans (www.bim.com.hk) but they are quite expensive! Half container costs HK$45,000. If less than a half container, it costs about HK$18,000 for 30 boxes.

Thanks for sharing the quote of logistic companies. May I know your quote refer to point to point service incl. pick-up and deliver to your home in Cdn ? Incl. packaging material carton boxes?
I will use frieght forwarding company instead of professional moving company for cost saving. We will have 2 cargo containers 40 ft' for family of 5. Many stuffs and furniture. I am waiting for quotation.

It is nice to share our research info.
