Today indeed a good day!!
Exactly same thing for me!
"We sent you a letter on June 1, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us"
Wish everyone good luck!
Hi my husband is now in Canada and I've just submitted my Outland application.
I want to join my husband in Canada in around September this year and wait for my landing papers while I'm in Canada if possible.
My question is will there be a problem when I enter into Canada (my passport is...
kcorbin, were you success in getting the MSP approval?
And everyone, sorry it might have been discussed earlier but I just want to double confirm - can I apply for the MSP health insurance coverage the same way if mine is an outland application?
that thread is really useful, thank you Rob_To!! if can gain the BC provincial health coverage perhaps i should consider giving birth in vancouver!
if that's the case, shama0724 you should send in your application outland asap.
if 13k CAD for delivery and cost for baby covered since birth then it's really not bad. just similar to private hospital in hk.
but was it hard for you to get a family doctor in Toronto? I heard it's difficult in Vancouver. Not sure if that's true.
Hi all Feb applicants!! I sent over my application on 6 Feb and it has arrived in Mississauga on 9 Feb! :D
So glad we can keep each other accompany through the waiting process.
Btw anyone knows how to set up a spreadsheet to track our progress like other thread does?
yes exactly, we think staying in hk for delivery is best for bb.
I've handed in my application just early last week (outland application). I've also done the medical check-up except the x-ray which would be delayed until after baby is born.
I'm expecting about 8-10 months, hopefully sooner...
thanks mumof3!!
I've the same concern as you, whether we can stay in BC before receiving the passport request.
Hope someone in this forum could give us some insight on that.
what we did is that my husband agreed with his current employer that he is going to take 3 months leave (or home-office) around the time I'm giving birth.
so that makes the separation now more bearable.
hope you will find your way out too! good luck xx
I'm exactly in the same situation. I'm currently pregnant and my husband has already started work in Vancouver.
We do not want to be apart either but finally we decided I'm staying in HK until baby is born, as we were told by friends that even without complications in the birth process you have...
Thanks Mumof3, argh, i'm so eager to hear back from them.
Just wondering is the AOR1 email the first thing you will get back from CIC?
And that will be sent to the sponsor's email address?
