cicong, was the line updated with re-medical received?
No, nothing updated on the ECAS. They did receive her re-medical though, it showed on the notes that was generated in late Feb.

I'm going to order my notes soon...it's been more than one month after the re-medical. Hopefully I'll see more "in progress"&"Complete" than "not started"

Probably better to contact your MP for an immediate response. Those notes take 1 month to come in.

Hello, we filed around the same time. My document's turned in April 2015 now at the applicant in process stage.
I'm 80% certain that we both share the same timeline - if ours is at the security stage, than yours will be there too.

Hi,

I have no luck with Ecas. Please advise do you use UIC number (8 digits) or Application No. to get the information. I was told only the principal applicant not the sponsor can access the information.

Thanks.
It looks like your question was missed in the answers so here is my response ...

Either the Sponsor or the Applicant can enter their info using their own information, not a mix of their info and the other's info. One little mistake and it won't work and you won't know the reason.

Use your Client ID Number, also known as Unique Client Identifier. It is on your email received from CIC and is in the form of 0000-0000 but you don't enter the dash. Receipt number or other numbers don't usually work.

Again, consistently answer all for Applicant or all for Sponsor. If the Sponsor was born in Great Britain you may have to play around with using UK, Scotland, England etc even if you were born in Wales. Get the birth date in the correct order.

Hi
Thanks for your response.
I found out the answer to my question after calling the CIC.
1. UIC is the sponsor number and it won't work on the Ecas system.
2. The application No. Starting with a letter and 9 digits is the number for the principal application to be checked on the Ecas system. Yes, you are right if you type wrongly any fields it won't work.

Best regards,
Lucas

Hi,

Sorry to bother you. What is the meaning of "notes"? If my understanding is correct, you have re-do the medical exam after the interview and got approval. But it has not entered into the Ecas system for over 1 month.

Kindly explain.

Hello all, my wife got an email from Beijing VO saying that her application has been processed on Mar21,16 and gave a tracking number to check status online. When I checked the website it said

"Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada visa office on Mar22,16."

What does this mean? How long will this take?

Thx

It means the Visa Application Centre has forwarded the passport and application to the Canada Visa Office in Beijing where the visa will be put in the passport and the COPR will be provided. Ours took 2 weeks until we got another email from VAC saying it had received the passport and was forwarding it to my wife at her home address. So just wait and keep checking the website for any changes. :)

Got my COPR today!!! Does anyone know if it risky to land one day before the expire day? Or what to do if my wife has to leave Canada before getting her PR card.
