Hong Kong Police clearance

Guys,
If you have already applied for Hong kong police clearance or you need to apply then please share your experience.
I noticed some people are confused about the process. Though it’s clearly specified in CIC site that, we have to get a letter from CIC then have to apply for the same to HK police, still not sure in which format CIC send and if HK police send PCC directly to CIC or they send to us.

I got below link for PCC request, not sure if we can use this or we should wait for a request from CIC

Most people get Pcc without waiting for request.
Secondly, it says on your link, at the bottom, that police should send Pcc to applicant

But for HK , CIC need to send a request , HK police need that request to process the pcc application

Hi I just got the request letter from CIC and am applying for the HK Pcc now. According to the HK police website I am applying from overseas and I have to send all the forms that they required with the CIC request letter, fingerprints paper and money to HK.

I think you already applied for it, could you please share? especially where did you get your fingerprints taken? from the police station or an fingerprinting agency? Thanks.

Did you receive an actual letter from CIC or just an email? A friend of mine who is from Hong Kong is wondering if the email from CIC is actually the letter that is mentioned in the instructions.
