You will get a receipt after you pay. Scan that receipt and upload it to CIC, together with an LOE saying "HK PCC will be mailed to xyz office directly by Hong Kong police department...they use regular air mail so please expect to receive the PCC report in x - y weeks..."

Can you please tell me how can someone get a payment receipt from HK Police while outside of HK? Are they going to know by default about my email id or use HK snail mail to my address?

Dear, I have seen a lot of people saying call CIC to get an update. Which number to call from outside of Canada? I don't see any contact number mentioned in CIC website.

They will mail the receipt by registered mail. However, they recommend you go there by yourself or ask someone you know to go there for you (anyone can submit the application on behalf of you and that person will get a receipt for you.)

Thanks. But, the system generated response says that they will respond within 20 working days. If so, then the deadline will be over. Any other option?

Can you tell me what you did finally? Did you get a prompt updated letter from the email id? I got the PCC request letter today with no address.

Hi Guys, I lived i HK for whole of 2015, and thus needed CNCC. I recieved reply from Miss Esther Hong (not sure if she is the one who replied to your emails also) that my CNCC has been posted to below address on August 15. But today I get a letter from CIC that they have not received my CNCC and I have to submit again. I called up HK Police and asked for Miss Esther Hong, but she is on long leave and the person attending the call said, she is the only officer who can reply to my email regarding this situation. This time CIC has given me just a month to send my CNCC.

The problem is Miss Hong had given me a tracking number of HK Post, but that is useless and I cannot track it after it left HK.

Anyone aware of situation like this.

Have you got it resolved? Maybe visit the police department if you're in Hong Kong...At the same time, email or call CIC for an extension.

Yes, recommended. Different people here reported that they were asked to sent to different CIC locations.

I am not in Hong Kong and neither I have VISA. I called up HK Police again today and another lady Konny Cheug received and said they will reply to my email. After few hours I got the reply that they will send it again by HK Post. I just wish it again doesn't gets lost in transit.

Read in many places that getting in touch with CIC on phone from outside Canada is nearly impossible. Tried for nearly 2 hours yesterday. Is there any other number or 1 6139444000 11170 is the one where I can get all information. Is there any specific time, when I can call them.

Hey that's great. I had called that number before and it only took like 10 minutes. The 11170 is correct. Try to do so in Ottawa's early morning time. Good luck.

I am also a FSW-O applicant and have been silent all the time, trying to be patient and let IRCC do their work.

Here is my timeline:
AOR on 15 June 2017
Med Pass on 10 July 2017
IP1 on 11 July 2017
1st ADR received on 11 July 2017
1st ADR submitted on 18 July 2017
2nd ADR received on 18 July 2017
2nd ADR submitted on 25 July 2017
HKCNCC sent out by HK Police on 27 July 2017

Since then no update. Background check status is "Your application is in process..." and additional document status is "being reviewed".

Your case encourages me that it will be paid off after long wait.
Hopefully I will see some progress on my application and will receive PPR soon!

Strange...your CNCC was sent on 26/7 and mine was sent on 15/8. I received a letter from CIC that my CNCC has not reached their office. While you have not received any intimation.
