A new requirement of ircc... They wanted to know how we got our passport made without it... In our times.. School leaving certificate mentioned DOB.. And it is recognised by passport authorities... So uploaded the documents and waiting and waiting....

This is what you should write in a Letter and upload it to IRCC. You can download the Passport requirements from your country's authority website and attach.

I see. Noted on this. Looks like this is a country specific requirement. From where I am from, we typically would need to submit a birth certificate before we can apply/obtain a passport.

There is no timeline mentioned anywhere on the Canada.ca website for this.

1. when do I get AOR after appling for Home Support Worker programme? I applied on 18.08.2023, still waiting for AOR.
2. Within how many months will I get Medical test request?
3. Most importantly, My son will finished his visitor visa for canada on 9th of February 2024 and I applied for him student visa with my home support worker work permit on 18.08.2023 , so is it advisable to renew his visitor visa?

1. You're supposed to get it within 1.5 months. No AOR is issued if the application is incomplete.
2. Anywhere between 7 months to a year after your biometrics request.
3. Seems a bit early, don't you think?

I applied in December 2022 from India,
Got file number within few weeks with biometric request
now, in August 2023 they requested Police clearance and medical again as it was over 1 year.

How long does it takes after submitting such documents?

Hi! I’m an HSW applicant and finished my 12mos, just submitted my proof of 12mos work last month. I got my CoPR today and will pass additional information and requirements they need. Just wondering how long does it take for IRCC to approve your PR after this step and give your PR card?

First let your parents land, and after that if they have a requirement, get a note from the Doctor. After that you can start hiring.

You need a reference letter, and salary slips from the employer. You should file taxes when due, to get NOA from CRA.
Also, get a T4 from your employer.
