Hi! Today Ircc sent me what looks like a generic email.

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

In order to respond to a high volume of enquiries related to the crisis in Afghanistan, we have needed to shift resources in our Client Support Centre. This will impact our ability to respond to some of your enquiries....."

Anyone who sent their requested updated forms via the webform/gckey and received the same response? Should I expect another email as acknowledgement of the submitted forms? Btw, I sent it 2nd week of August. Thanks!

I got the same reply too when I sent them my NEW PASSPORT.

They usually acknowledge before just like with my lacking payment.
Here’s their reply earlier this year about my receipt sent thru webfore.

I am an outside Canada applicant, September 2019 to be particular, done as far as medical with a medical passed remarks last June 2020 on my profile, right after that there’s nothing else, almost two years and nothing fruitful happened.
I know the creator of this group even have an applicant of July 2019 and still had nothing aside from AOR.
I don’t know what else to say. Just patiently waiting.

Same timeline here! Silently reading if there’s any new updates but nothing so far. So sad

We tried sending follow up letter(s) and all we got is the same standard/auto reply.

But oh! wait, they have a new reason now, it is no longer due to covid, now they are using the crisis in Afghanistan to politely say we are not on their priority lists.

Someone will think do they just really have 4 case officer dealing with all the immigration issue? Like seriously? then the email will even have a disclaimer don’t reply this email it is not monitored or something like that.

It’s hopeless, I know a lot of you guys were happy getting updates and I am happy for you, but how far will this application go?

Did you receive letter regarding update forms and offer of employment ?

We have completed medicals last year but now they are expired and now received letter to provide updated job offer letter which means it will start all over again - this program is nothing but a big joke with us.

None, we never got any request from IRCC.

The last two movement on my file are: June 2020 when my file shows Medical Passed and June 2021 when they removed the update that I passed the medical.

They are still working in TR to PR pathway (they already gave numerous PR approval to students, and countless open work permits within few weeks only). But I never heard any open work permit (WITHOUT CANADA EXPERIENCE yet) that has been issued under HCCP/HSW. Is that how difficult to make a work permit???? (That’s a RHETORICAL QUESTION by the way). I know HOW EASY for them to give work permits for other pathway. But why not in HCCP??? Why are they taking so long with my background check to think that I’m here since 2018, and no dependents. I already sent gcms note, and it says that I have to wait since there are many applicants who submitted gcms in ircc. Ugh! I had to pay $5 just to ask my status.

And I never heard any updates again from those people who submitted an UPDATED JOB OFFE

HCCP is they're least priority to work on, they will just keep on sending us email to update forms etc. or asking us if they want to withdraw our application..

You're more lucky because you're already inside Canada and waiting to be issued an open work permit. While us outside Canada applicants don't even know when to received our permanent AORs. Sometimes, it's so frustrating, but then we can't do anything than to wait and pray
