As the first time Princess2020 mentioned it is not stated it is one year of experience necessary - anywhere. What Harkaran said is true, without experience you need to provide proof of your ability to do the work, which can be in the form of a minimum of one year of work experience; paid or unpaid or Caregiver certification or a combination of both. There’s no specific requirement mentioned on cic website (you sent also that link which says that) the candidate must prove they are able to perform the job. And to prove that both experience and relavnt courses would count but the one year requirement is not there.

We use any past experience or training you have to decide if you’re able to do the work described in the NOC job description (lead statement).
