I followed the link and downloaded the file. i don't see those questions on there, see below.

I also don't see this on the offer letter I filled out. I've tried clearing cache and used different browsers.
Same I didnt see those 3 last questions. And if there is a new form my immigration consultant should knw about this.. like the form 1294 and 1295 there is a new versions.

You are still safe if you submitted with old form too as IRCC is still transitioning. But they have asked "update" from old applicants which is essentially the 3 questions.

I also filled the old version of the offer of employment. Just got to know it now.

Dear patrons, can anyone provide me an idea of the duration/processing time for the work permit under this program...?? My sister applied under the Home Child care support Pilot 2023 and she is outside of Canada. She needs the work permit to come and join the job she got that starts in April.

Processing is over 30 months as she has applied for PR. Work permit and first PR review takes about 34 months. She is not going to start in April. Maybe April 2026.

The way things are going currently, you can forget April 2025 even.

Timeline of first approval currently is 33 months. If your sister has accompanying family members (i.e. additional work permits or study permits) it could take longer.

After all this, there is a phase of back and forth with CIC. Where they ask for "update". The update could be anything from biometrics, police reports, medicals or simply a few questions on the job offer.

Overall a long 3+ years if she is outside Canada. From inside Canada it is around 12 months.

If I am not mistaken.... this "33 Months" is the PR timeline....and I totally understand that. I think there is a separate processing time for the "Work Permit". She is not even eligible for the PR yet. She needs to come and join the job [with a work permit] to gain the experience for her to be eligible. Isn't it..??

In this link...if you select the "Temporary Residence" from the first dropdown, it gives you the option for "Work Permit (Outside Canada)" option in the 2nd dropdown. The timeline for that is around 30 Weeks....

Then again...I was not sure even that is happening or not....

You are selecting the wrong drop down She selects ”caregivers” as she applied through the HCCP program. She did not apply for a work permit with LMIA/PGWP etc. Under caregivers it will say work permit and PR depending on how much experience she has.

Thanx a lot for the clarification buddy....!!!

You need a job offer. Intake for caregiver is closed until next year so you have time. When you apply next year expect processing of up to 3 years.
