Consider IRCC is processing 2020 outside right now, you may have to wait for sometime.

Mine is not a temporary aor

Yes mine starts with XE but it is not saying temporary and I got an UCI and it was a biometric instruction letter.
I just completed the biometrics this morning

if you received biometrics, remove X from your application number and it becomes your permanent AOR. you can link your application to gckey.

Hi everyone!
Please reply if anyone faced the same situation.....I applied HCCP outside for my sister. Her application returned being not complied with Sec. 10 and 11 of IRPR (Improper information w.r.t. the job experience). Actually there was some gap in the form while she changed her job from one to another. Please suggest if I can resubmit the application after correction? Will they accept it?

Your interpretation of the guidelines is correct, in my opinion! Only dependents not working or studying require a TRV. If you apply for work permit, you will eventually be issued a TRV along with the work permit anyways, so no need for a separate TRV application. However, if not working or studying, you have to apply for a TRV specifically. In essence, TRV application is required for accompanying children who are not yet of school age.

Hi - if a minor child (2y/o) is on TRV, does this mean they can only stay for 6 months? And they won't be eligible to any govt/medical benefits while in TRV?
