Holding PGWP, Visiting India - Need help

Hi

My wife's study permit was valid till November 2014. Before its expiry, we applied for OWP from inside Canada, granted validity till May 2016, received the hard copy of the same in November itself.

Can she visit India and return to Canada on the basis of the same PGWP itself? Or she needs to apply for a fresh TRV?

Seniors, plz suggest. The tickets have been confirmed for July, and she would be coming for a 2 weeks trip.

tann lemme reiterate. The initial TRV was valid till Nov 2014.

After that we merely applied for PGWP,for which we received the permit at our address. but the passport doesnt carry a valid TRV.

I read CIC's website, guess we would have to apply for her TRV before she can return to Canada if she leaves Canada/US.
