Throughout my application journey, I always, everyday & night pray to Jesus & God to guide me every step of the way. It’s all because of Him.

Helpful tips:
1. Upon medical, i disclosed to the doctor that I am an HIV positive & have been medicating since last year.
2. I requested a confirmatory result in my clinic as requested too by St. Lukes.
3. Im under agency, i never disclosed my health status regarding hiv to my agent/agency.
4. I never mentioned any details regarding my hiv status in my SOP either.
5. I already had my visa stampped last week. I havent received any further instruction, nor monitoring letter that i need to go to any clinic in Canada upon arrival.

-Already booked my flight this 2nd week of December btw. Thanks for this thread. Following this thread since March this year gives me great hope on my application because of those previously approved story here.

Fighting!

To anyone that got refused or still waiting on results or to those who will just lodge soon, keep the FAITH - Stronger. Seek God's help.

this is my below about myself.

myself from India, Bangalore age 33 Male - Single. I know that this got to me at an earlier stage but I know my life wont stop here.
I am trying to apply to study visa in Canada. I dream to study in Canada that's i applied for universities and i got admit at Edmonton state for PGDM. but i didn't disclose to university people that i have HIV+.

I have been HIV positive for 3 years and have been undetectable on VRLD-0 & CD4 count 800+ and healthy and going to GYM daily and keep myself FIT and strong .
As some members have said, for HIV positive applicants, their profile must be strong by showing admission from a any university. However, as I have finished my bachelor degree and having 10 years of work experience.

Can you guys please tell me what should I do and how can HIV applicants apply to? Has anyone living with HIV have successfully get study visa? Please help me. Thank you guys. If anyone got approved study visa & please help me to understand and support me my rest of my life.

Please request you to help me and guide to get into Canada for studies please. I never forget the person who can lift my hand from the bad sutivations. just need only information support and gaudiness.

Looking forward the support dear friends.

Important : I can get my medicines pills from India ART -Naco center. they can send courier every 6 months of pills at a time so can i get pills from India when i was in Canada on courier process so is that good ?

Thankyou

Hello everyone, I just found out my hiv positive result today from iom I was called and talk to. But I’ve submitted my application and upfront late last month even did biometric today. The doctor said it was every low in me, the virus. I didn’t even have any symptoms and it is good it was detected now so I can get on the drugs right away and get undetectable asap. Coming back home and going through this thread I just realized I wasn’t told anything on like cd4 or viral load. Will I know that after I start taking the drugs

My question is since my file is already with ircc how do I tell them know I plan on shipping the drugs every three months( I have gone through the thread to know the drug can be shipped)

Will this new test results affect my proof of funds now? I use an agent for my process and I don’t want him or anyone to know now for privacy reasons. It’s all new to me I don’t even want to start thinking and get stressed and depressed now I just want this visa process to be over first,

secondly I will be going to Regina at Saskatchewan what is the policy there what can I expect. Please I don’t know the questions to ask now it’s all new to me never had this kind of shock in my life. But please if you are at Saskatchewan or any provinces that know what it is like in Sask and you know where am I going with the questions please help me with a response please I beg you. I appreciate your reply thank you

You said you don't want to share it with the agent.. that means he didn't have included that in your application, isn't it? That will be counted as misinterpretation. Assigning an agent means a person to represent you that means to disclose everything to them, so that they include that in your file. I would suggest discussing with them and taking appropriate steps because trust me Canada's immigration takes medical as quite a critical step towards permanent residency. Rest is your call.

I have submitted my application since last month already and I was just called in by the doctor yesterday and he told me he said it is confidential between me, him the doctor and ircc. He said he will forward my medical to ircc after I agreed to sign a counseling paper which I did. Now my agent is the one handling all my application, going through the thread i see that ircc will send a message to the applicant how they want to go about their medical care if their proof of funds is not enough, I can arrange the drug to be shipped to me every time I need it but how do I tell the irrc that without my agent knowledge or can I tell my doctor to tell them that?

And also I’m just finding out yesterday after I have already submitted my application and did biometric yesterday does that still count as Misinterpretation. I honestly didn’t know beforehand

Counseling paper?? Agreed to sign ??The doc has to forward all medical to IRCC whether you say or not, thats the policy. They are given IRCC designated medical panel due to some reasons and had to follow the rules.
For what counseling? As far as I knew counseling is for psychological problems or likewise, why would you need counseling for HIV?? Am I missing something...
Why are you so reluctant to hide things from your agent? They needs to know so that they can guide you accordingly so as to avoid misinterpretation.

Just do what the panel physician ask you to do, you don’t need to raise a webform. Do all tests and wait for IRCC to communicate with you. Your status Dosnt affect your visa decision. If further testing is required by IRCC you will be told what to do.

When are you supposed to disclose to the agent

You don’t need to disclose to your agent. IRCC will communicate to your agent if any thing is needed from you to present. And you don’t need to disclose your status in your SOP
