Asking from my friend..and i already here in canada i apply my friend in my work last october 2018 we send the form to cic for the lamia...how long it will take for the process?and are we or my employer gonna recieve a call?

It's the employer that must request the LMIA and it doesn't get sent to IRCC but ESDC.
The employer may well be contacted but will certainly have to complete all of the required LMIA application steps anyway, including the $1000 fee.
4 to 6 months is common, just for the LMIA.

Thank you for the response...we have the lamia #...and then my employer told me until now they didnt recieve a call..is it posible can my employer phone them for the update or we really need to wait.

If you already have a valid (genuine) approved LMIA, that's all you need.
