They might ask you stuff at the airport. Related to your file, cause they have access to your file on the computers at the immigration at the airport. Like where you met, where your wife works, etc......
You need pictures for when you land, yes, instructions come when you get ur visa. Congratulations!!! Well you might want to take money for your trip over to Canada or else how are you going to pay for anything when you're here? Life is expensive in Canada!

bring lots of money. When you think you have enough, double the amount. That should hold you for a while. Canada is a great country ((if you have lots of $$$$)

lmao. true dat.

What if the person just doesn't have a lot with them (few hundred) is that going to be a problem? Even if they are staying at the sponsors house and the sponsor is the one that has to take care of them? are they going to send them back if they dont have a lot?

no, once you arrive, as long as you dont break any laws, you will be fine. In general, its always best to have some kind of emergency fund.

Not a problem. Lucky you to have such a nice sponsor taking care of you ;D

the landing officer doesn't ask how much money you have with you, nor does he ask how much money you have in your bank account. when you get your permanent resident visa, your sponsor, whoever that may be, has already signed off that s/he is financially responsible for you, so you could theoretically come with $1 and they couldn't deny you anything. But ya, you need to get a decent job ASAP, so that you can afford life in Canada.
