hi Asivad, i have few questions about pof.

1. i have CIBC provided my financial profile, but it provide me statements for my three account(checking, saving and credit card) over last 6 months. totally more than 30 pages...do i have to provide them all, or only checking account? ps, no money in saving account

2. 6-month statement includes transaction in March.but i found one transit from my father in that month, and i did not keep the transit proof. should i include this month's statement and write a declaration or i only need to have statements over past four months?

thanks in advance.

Re: hi Asivad, help please

Hi Guys, I have an India PCC which I got in Nov 2014.
As per my knowledge cic does accepts pcc which is valid for 3 months. (If I am wrong could you please rectify me)
My question is if I will get an ITA this month can I send the same pcc which I got in Nov 2014 ?
If not, Can I send the same and explain them that I have already applied for a new one and will send later with the application receipt.
Will that work ?
or is there any other suggestion for this ?

Anyone had same scenario ? What was your solution ?

Appreciating your valuable suggestion.

That PCC is invalid only if you lived in India for more than 6 months in a row since Nov 2014. Else you can use the same document.

You can get away with not providing bank statements if you can get CIBC to just mention 6 months average balance instead. Tell them its is a CIC requirement which even foreign banks are happy to fulfill!

Submit the statements only for the relevant account and not all your accounts.

If the transfer is unreasonably large, you have to explain it and provide a declaration from your father that this wasn't a loan.

Sarahvan - How did you get the financial profile?? I requested CIBC and they said they can only provide me Account and balance confirmation letter.
I went to two different branches and they gave me same reply. Any suggestion??

hi , CIBC did not give me financial profile..they have no idea what it is...

it provides me bank statement over last 6 months and one letter noting my current account balance, including chequing, saving and credit card.

Pls help, i have two accounts in two different banks, one is saving accounts( joint with spouse) and second one is salary account, but For POF all amount exists in saving accounts from last 6-7 months. And salary account hv nt much money bcoz i used it for home expensives or for daily use so always balance is below than $100. Only in the first week of every month balance goes up when salary transfered to it. So now question is-: Bank statements are mandatory or not. I have more than six months old balance in my joint account with my spouse and average balance is also same as current balance, just 3-4% variation. If im sending bank letter which stating average balance for last six months, current balance, credit card accounts( limits and balance available), no loan then bank statement for last six months should be submitted or not. And should i submit same letter ( no loan, current balance, avg balance, credit cards) for salary account from other bank or statement is mandatory

1. There is not need to provide transaction wise details. Just total ending balance and month end balance (six months "TSM"). Provide details of your account which meet the minimum threshold. Keep your Dormant/empty account away from bank letter.

2. Draft LOE for the said transaction which increases/decreases your account balance. Have you received an ita? If not then wait one more month, your tsm will start from April.

Hi asivad. The whole discussion of POF flared up after unfortunate decision on ur application. I feel scared now I have money in stocks ( share market) and tax saving policies which is worth around 11000 cad. I had not send any documents for these because the bank denied to give certificate for these in exact format told by CIC. I just gave CIC format certificates from 2 accounts both with money above LICO INDIVIUALLY
Now the problem is
- for one i m sole account holder ( but huge gab between six month average and final balance) I have not provided any documents to support the diff. Final balance is above LICO though
- for other it's joint with father. ( it's all my money. Above LICO . Added declaration from dad that this money belongs to me and he has no objection if I use this money ....... As u guided me initially .
If they don't get convinced by joint My sole account has diff between average n ending balance ( which again they don't like ).
So I feel scared here.
Now I wish to send them my stocks plus policies ( worth 11k) ( these are solely my name and six months older). Since I m single applicant. It can make huge difference. Some people talked about sending more documents through CSE which later got linked to application. Can u plz guide me about whole situation. And where is the link for CSE ( I mean how to do it just to give it a try )
Thank you so much for all the guidance
