Nope you don't have to submit any sort of accommodation fee to visa officer. The officer will ask you about your accommodation arrangements, you can jus say i will live with a friend for a couple of days till i find my own place.

i have visited CIC website for list of documents that have to be submitted with study permit application..that list also consists of proof of payment of accomodation fee...

more simply i just want to know whether i have to arrange my accommodation before applying for study permit or i can arrange it after reaching canada??

means its not mandatory or compulsary to arrange accommodation before applying for study permit..one can arrange accommodation after reaching canada..am i right??

Don't worry about the accommodation it ain't a big deal. Jus get your study permit and once you reach canada get your accommodation sorted then. Fyi it's not mandatory or compulsary.

hi sir i got visa and starting my course in seneca newnham in jan . i will arrive at 7th of dec.can you help me to arrange an accommodation for me B/C i can not arrange so far.and you know hotels are too much costly .hope for positive reply .
