I have a question.. I came to Canada from the USA over 2 years ago as a visitor... I got married to a Canadian and have applied for my per mint residency ( which im still waiting for ) >:( My question is if I return to the USA for a brief visit would they let me back ? .. I know visitor status only lasts for so long.. is there a minim amount of time I would have to spent in the USA ?? My wife is afraid if I cross the boarder they wont let me back

It's impossible for any of us to answer that question. Whether you're allowed back in or not is entirely up to the CBSA officer you encounter at the border.

As scylla mentions it's very difficult for anyone here to answer that question, I guess it would very much depend on whether you have kept to the terms of your visitors visa. If you have overstayed a visitor visa then you may have some difficulty getting back in to Canada.

When did you enter Canada last and what were the terms of your visitors visa?
