Hello everyone, I have a dilemma, my work experience stated in my workplace document is Sales Department, Sales associate over phone. The work was performed using a computer and the software to receive customer's requests. I was selling them the products and informing them about the product features, ex. (how to use it) and manage the delivery date and time and finally close the request. Other described duties are (1.Present and promote to customers services or products of our company. 2. Maintain the contact with existing clients for making them permanent customers. 3.Propose discounts and benefits for customers. 4. Identify new potential customers. Under what NOC would this qualify more exactly ? under Sales I found 8 NOCs, the last one is under D with code 6623, but I was wondering if it can be considered as customer service in any case more exactly NOC 6552 C ? Since I found couple of job offers stating for customer service they require past experience in call centre that could be under sales or other assistance.

NOC C and D are not eligible for Express Entry unless you are in Canada applying under the TR to PR program and the NOCs are listed.

I am not looking for Express Entry, I am interested more if I have any chances to apply for Atlantic Pilot.

Ok. So you have a job offer with a designated employer? Your NOC should match your job offer to show that you have the experience.

Not yet, I was planning to build a CV, but I have recently found my contract papers in order to identify the correct duties at work and the exact position. Secondly, I am a bit confused since some of the designated employers advertise job offers under my NOC, requiring customer service or sales agents any of these past experiences are mentioned in job requirements from the candidate, so here is the point where I am a bit disoriented. Thereafter, I found one point from NOC 6552 in my duties, but the position itself relies more to 6623 which is skill type D. Finally, I am trying to figure out, let's suppose I get a job offer from a designated employer based on NOC 6552 C and my NOC is 6623 D, what issues can interfere further in the process of processing the documents ?

Well your experience must match the NOC as stated on the website. Your work experience employment letters will state your responsibilities that match the NOC.

I am not sure if my previous employer would agree to provide an employment letter, but anyway I have the proofs of working there, the actual contract and the job description with duties, responsibilites that can be easily translated if needed. What if an employer finds that I am fitting the job they require candidates for and I receive a job offer, like performing similar tasks as my previous job ? wouldn't that let me to succeed in the application process ?

Read the requirements of the program. The information is there. Your biggest challenge is getting a job offer. It will be difficult.

One more thing I wanted to point out which is unclear from the program page, (You must meet employment requirements for the job you are offered. You can find these requirements in the NOC. The job doesn’t need to be in the same NOC as other jobs you’ve had.) I have put the statement in bold text.

You still need to meet the employment requirements for the job offered. Your biggest challenge is getting an approved job offer that is full-time and permanent. All the best.

I really appreciate your help Naturgrl, I just want to make all the stuff clear for myself to know what to do. There is one last question I want to ask you to clarify everything. I am just trying to understand one aspect, my current NOC is D 6623, suppose I receive a job offer from a Designated employer who hires me, based on similar tasks being reuired by the employer that were performed by me at my previous workplaces, that would still not qualify me through this stream ? By the way, before that I used to work under NOC 6523 C, but the period was -3 months to make it a full year. What I am trying to say is I was a salesperson in a call centre, I am finding a job offer related to the same thing, but the position has Customer Service represntative dealing with sales also in call centre, they have similarities in tasks performed but only the NOC is different.
