Help with Document Request

I sent the scanned PCC as requested back in Feb 23, and today I got below email. I just sent the scanned PCC again, it's such a frustrating process when things like this happened out of our control. Is there any way to confirm whether they have received the document?

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are still missing the following information in order to finalize your application:

Ø 88475243 - LUNQIAN PAN:
Ø > Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from India. This must be received at this office by: 2016/05/12


An initial request was sent to you on 2016/02/10. To date, we have not received the requested information.

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 30 days from the date of this letter.

Please reply directly to this email and put your application number in the title.

This is a final reminder for you to comply with our request. If we do not hear back from you within the prescribed deadline, an officer will review your case and make a decision based on the information available. As a result, your application may be refused.

Please note:

· Any documents submitted which are not in English or French must be accompanied by a translation in either English or French.

· Do not submit originals, unless otherwise stated, as documents submitted will not be returned.
· Please note that we can only accept unzipped PDF, JPG or .doc files that are attached to an email, totaling less than 5 MB.

I have been requested PCC first week of March and since them no update. Did you get the automatic confirmation email when you sent the documents? Did you send new PCCs or just scanned copy of the old/sent with application ones?

You should check the email address was the right one, and you included all your information.

Also send email with read confirmation, if possible.

Confirm email was actually sent (I use BBC to myself, or check sent, outbox and draft folders)

Perhaps you can use CSE to re-submitted, including a brief explanation about why you're send it by CSE die to previous email issues.

I received the automatic reply for the file they "missed".

Thank you for your response, I noticed yesterday that they only accept PDF, .JPG and .doc files. The PCC I submitted earlier was .PNG, this might be the reason why they failed to receive it. But I wonder why didn't they indicate the format when they requested the files first instead of telling this as last reminder.

The good part is, I got human response 20 mins after submitting .jpg PCC file. This will be a good note to everyone who needs to submit e-doc.
