Make sure its a fully refundable ticket in case you don't get the visa. The visa officer will be checking to make sure you will return home after the visit...usually someone paying for your ticket is a red flag because it could indicate you can't afford the trip on your own...alternatively the VO will want to know why this cousin is being so generous.noorlee said:Hi Seniors,

IMHO 2,000 dollars isn't much...how long will you be staying in Canada? Also how can your cousin afford to host you given his/her responsibilites in Canada - does he/she have a well paying job with evidence in the form of pay stubs, Filed Notices of Tax Assessments, Bank statements etc? If he does why is he/she hosting you? Is it out of the kindness of his/ her heart?
it is better to attach tickets with return even u have a cousin to take care....cuz of cousin no need of hotel booking...but i think ticket booking make your case strong....noorlee said:Thank you sqazi!
I have a cousin there and she will be the one to take care of me during my stay(lodging, etc. etc.) I will get an invitation from her. So, do i still need to book the ticket and attach it?
