Thank you sqazi!

I have a cousin there and she will be the one to take care of me during my stay(lodging, etc. etc.) I will get an invitation from her. So, do i still need to book the ticket and attach it?

Make sure its a fully refundable ticket in case you don't get the visa. The visa officer will be checking to make sure you will return home after the visit...usually someone paying for your ticket is a red flag because it could indicate you can't afford the trip on your own...alternatively the VO will want to know why this cousin is being so generous.

If you attach a return ticket, you can make your case even stronger and such get visa easily. however, there are many cases where people get visas without tickets too.

My advise is quite different from others.

Please send your file with all necessary and genuine docs. It is not a big issue for ticket.

You should prepare yourself in such a way that u can satisfy visa officer by depending upon some conditions from visa officer.

1) You will leave canada at the end of your stay.
2) your purpose of visit
3) Your family ties in canada as well as in Pakistan.
and many more.

I will also advise you that before submitting file in CHC Islamabad your case should be strong..................

Thanks for the information.

Would it be enough that i have only 2000 CAD as bank statement? I have no other asset under my name. But my cousin, where i will be staying will provide the lodging. Actually, i will be there to attend her second son's bday and its been a while we have not seen each other.

How enough is enough for the bank statement? I know i will have to present her financial record to show that she can assist me during my visit.

What ties do you have to your home country so that the visa officer does not get concerned you will remain illegaly in Canada? IMHO 2,000 dollars isn't much...how long will you be staying in Canada? Also how can your cousin afford to host you given his/her responsibilites in Canada - does he/she have a well paying job with evidence in the form of pay stubs, Filed Notices of Tax Assessments, Bank statements etc? If he does why is he/she hosting you? Is it out of the kindness of his/ her heart?

Hello,

I would appriciate some advises about online TRV application.

My father lives in Canada, I visited him in 2010 with my sisters.
In 2011 my sisiters visited him again.
Therefore, I assume it shouldn't be a problem for me to get TRV to visit him again.

I got my personal check list on MyCIC, and I am a bit confused now.
It looks like this:
Letter of Support
Additional Family Information IMM5645
Itinerary, Travel
Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter
Purpose of travel - Other
Proof of Means of Financial Support
Passport or travel document
Digital Photo
Proof of Relationship
Travel History
Invitation Letter

I am a student, and I depend on my father financially.
I don't know in which section should I upload my study certificate and transcript.

My parents are divorced, I live with my unemployed mother. In my previous application I attached document proving that she is
enlisted in the National Employment Agency for persons seeking employment on the date. I don't know should I upload that document now...an where would I upload it? Maybe in Optional Documents/Letter of explanation section?

As for Letter of support and Proof of Means of Financial Support... it is the same document in my case.(almost the same as invitation letter, too) Should I double upload it?
In the letter of support I should submitt supporting evidence of supporters relationship to me... the same document as in Proof of Relationship secton ... double it again?
