I need urgent housing advice.. I have to search imformation about new townhouses in North York or close to North York.
My relative told me that there are new townhouses which is mixed with condo. I don't know what it's called.
According to my relative, the builders brought advantage from both condo and townhouse.
I want to live house which is close to subway or bus stop. I think condo is too expensive for my family.

What so strange about it? I guess you don't see similar buildings in Korea.

In some residential high-rise buildings, usually there are townhouses in the street level and condo homes above it. There should be many choices along the subway or bus stop to find a house for your family.

Anyways, this is what it looks like:

FYI - The townhouse units are likely quite a bit more expensive than the condo units.

Condo is a type of ownership: you pay monthly fees into the condo corporation to get common elements as available (common gym, park area, pool, activities, etc... this differs from condo to condo).

Townhouse is a type of building: generally we think of condos as tall buildings, but townhouse can also be a via condo ownership. This means you would live in a connected row house setting, but you would pay monthly fees (condo maintenance fees) to get access to common elements like park, shared path area, etc. (depends on the particular townhouse area).
