Hi all,

Im new here, willing to apply for 2147 Computer engineers category
I have more than 10 years of experience in this field, my duties match
i have 7.5 in IELTS

but my problem is, my degree is MBA Marketing
will i qualify for apply for this category as i have 10 years of experiance

one of the ways to qualify is that you need 1 yr exp in past 10 yrs!!

Yes. You need to have at least one year's experience to be able to get the points under "experience" category. Although 1 yr exp will fetch you very less points ...

My IELTS has completed but still struggling to get the ECA.

CIC has clearly mentioned in NOC.. they need Engineering degree for 2147

Even my situation is same and i consulted with multiple consultants including wwic*, delhi ..he told i will not be qualified

But the label "computer engineer" is somewhat broad and vague to me. I have looked on the CIC website for more information about the official description but I cannot seem to find it; I want to check to see if my actual career meets this FSW skillset.
