HELP: restoration of status

I am looking for help
Which option I have to choose?
Iam apply for restoration of status for my wife after her OWP extension refused and I don't know which option I have to choose to restore her status and get OWP for her again?

It not very much clear fore which option I have to choose
They said on the website :
" Check the appropriate ( box or boxes )to indicate if you are applying for.

so in my case I am not sure which option I have to choose just one or both
So
On the form IMM 5710, in the first section under question 3, “I am applying for one or more of the following:

1-" apply for work permit with the same employer.
2- ”Restore my status as a worker.

So option no 2 is the correct answer?
Why refused? " not satisfied that you meet the requirements...."
But the actual reason
Coz my company gets late when they apply for my LMIA, and they apply for the WP extension 3 days before the expiration date then I applied for my wife for extension as well and the paper I attach with my wife application was the " maintained status" coz I wasn't having any Lmia or WP .

If she was a worker then yes. Is your LMIA and work permit approved now? If not when did you apply? What is your status?

yes ,She was holding SOWP
LMIA only approved so far I am waiting for my WP "still under process"
I am in maintained status

She only has 3 months to restore her status so how can you wait?

I have to wait, my WP still under process for almost 4 months now maybe after one month or two will come out, then I will apply.

At that point she won’t be able to restore her status and remaining in Canada without status for a long period of time is not a good idea. Best option would be to leave versus remaining in Canada without status.

My wife SOWP expired AUG 28 I applied for her extension Aug 26
I just got her refusal 20 Dec 2024, I believe we have 90 days from that day , right ?

My company applied for my work permit expired AUG 28 and company applied for extension Aug 24 and my LMIA already approved 2 month now and they send the approval along with my extension application ,

so I am waiting for my WP approval then I will apply for her ice I get it with in the 90 days.

Did the letter indicate when the date she lost status is? Think it is August.

The permit expired AUG 20
And in the refusal letter said ( We also wish to advise you that your temporary resident status expired on December 20, 2024 )

Ok so you do still have the ability to restore.
