help reagarding baggage!!

plz give valuable advice on carrying baggage!!

i am travelling on 3rd of Sep, jet airways- which allows to carry 23 kgs two pcs, but ny friends in Canada said we can carry 30 kgs, is it okey to carry 30 kgs of two luggage? And a hand carry of 8 kgs? I am toally confused..

do no take the risk of carrying 30kgs.. i am sure you don't want to create a panic situation for yourself at the airport if the officer tells you to pay excess baggage amount or to take out few things..never fall for this, few people carry 30kgs and by luck they go through and this doesnt happens always..

I dont think they give you baggage allowance discount based on college

U can carry 2*32kg baggage in business class
and 2*23kg in premium economy

my friend is travelling on the same date and same airlines thats why..
obviously don't you think it would be dumb if my question was what you thought

One Lagguge should not be more than 30 kg even your air line allows you more wight to carry. This is about health safety rules and regulations.

Such as. If an air line allows 40 kg for Lagguge. Then you have to carry Two luggage one shouldn't be more than 30 kg. Good to ask your Airline

I travelled with KLM and they allowed me two bags each one 32 kg and a small bag on the plane 18 kg in addition to my laptop. So it depends on the airline. Call your airlines to check.

yea 23kg x 2 is standard for all airlines.. i myself carried one 30kg and another 25kg suitcases and PIA allowed me when i told them im a student

Airlines people don't consider laptop weight. Laptop is all separate from rest of the weighing items. And to be precise. better you should ask airlines services. Bon voyage !!
