I Just recived my CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE, on April 15 of 2013,

it said it was issued on April 04 of 2013

according to the letter attached with the CONFIRMATION
I have until the date give to enter or travel of the validity of the CPR, or i will be denied access as a PR,

on my confirmation it has a valid to date stating 2013/04/10.

was i only given 6 days to move up to canada?
also i didn't even get my letter until 5 days after the date, please answer as soon as possible.

Maybe they mean Oct. 4? six months from issue date.

I have heard of situations where the validity of the visa was only one day after issuance. It expired with the medical. My friend had to rush and purchase tickets for her and her husband and their 3 kids.

I am not sure what can be done with regards to your situation. Hopefully others will offer some information to you.

I hope that there is a positive resolution!

When is your medical expiring?

Medical expires
2013/04/10

someone please help,
to have gone all this way just to get denied now would be devisating

Where do you live now? When was you DM? When your letter was mailed?

I've heard that person who got CoPR has to land until the date of expiry of Medical. So, I think you had to land until 10th April. But you received your CoPR today.

If you can, try to call CIC or send e-mail.

i live in illionis right now,
my DM?
iv alreadly emaild them
whats the number to call for outside of canada?

Ugh....That sucks!

If your medical has expired you will have to contact your visa office and get them the extend your medical and re-issue the COPR.

Ohh...If your in Illinois, and are US Citizen, I'd just come to Canada with that, and explain the situation at the border....they should give you entry on a visit visa. Then you'll still have to do the above.

When you receive your updated COPR, you'll just need to book a "landing" interview.

will i have to start over from the start?
it says on the letter that they will not extened my date for any reason what so ever.
since my medical expired can i just re due it and get them to re-issue it?

Sadly, I do not think you have any options.

I really hope you can find someway around it though!!

Hang on for some more experienced members to see your post, I really hope there is a loop hole for you!!

Send a CSE to your VO marked urgent requesting clarification. Like others have said, it's typically tied to the expiration of your medicals or passport, whichever comes first. It's strange to me that they would give you such a short window to land without prior discussion. I have heard of cases where people were given only a few days, but they got a heads up and knew it was coming. Otherwise, they would have extended your medicals to allow you more time.
