Hi,
I sent in mine and my husband's PR application to the Sydney Nova Scotia Federal Skilled Worker office and it arrived on April 7th 2009 at 1:01pm (MST). The application went in with my job letter from a Canadian office, mine and my husband's certificates of good character, the required money as stated on the website, all forms signed and completed and our pictures.
Today is June 29th and we haven't received any letter from the Canadian Immigration with our reference number or any correspondence whatsoever.
Can someone tell me if this is normal or if this should be expected. I called a couple Immigration consultants and they said that this is very unusual and I should write them a letter with copies of the courier information and the bank information and wait for a response.
Has someone gone through this type of delay in recent times as the expectation being given to me is that I should have received some correspondence within 2 months of the application being sent in.
Does anyone know if or how I can contact them without having to wait for e-mail / mail e.g. via telephone?
Any help provided will be very much appreciated.
Thanks
