Hi, I know this issue has been discussed quite many times but I wasn't able to find an answer to my question and ask here again. I appreciate your help in advance.

To briefly explain my situation
- I finished my degree in December 2018 at UBC without any course failure and any part-time study term.
- My study visa expires at the end of July
- Stayed outside Canada from Jan to May
- Applied for PGWP in May and refused last week because I did not comply with the biometric collection by mistake.

I did not get any job offer yet but have a few recruitment processes going on right now so trying to get PGWP as soon as possible. I was suggested to go to the US border and do flagpole.

Does anybody has gone through or heard of a situation like me? What can be the worst scenario that I will face if I apply for the visa through Flag Pole? Are officers going tough about the Flag Pole for PGWP? Thank you very much.

I read a few discussing PGWP / Flagpole issues. I was not able to find something applicable to my case. I forgot to include this but my visa was refused once since I did not do the biometric.

You dont need study permit(must still be on some valid status i.e visitor) or job to get PGWP, however you only have 180 days from graduating to apply.

Worst case scenario you get refused.

Also if you apply after study permit expires you cant work until you actually get the PGWP.

Also forgot that your study permit becomes invalid 90 days after graduation so you probably dont have a valid study permit at this point.
