Hi,
Ok here's the run down,
Oct 2,2017 application recieved. File number and UCI given.
November 16 & November 17 2017 received email requesting information. Recieved email confirmed they got it .Been calling in last note on DEC 6th 2017 on my application from Montreal office was everything was there it stated but STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED ELIGIBILITY APPROVAL. Montreal office said for sponsor approval takes 3 months it can. Well its been 5?? Anyone know? Plus I passed all eligibility questionnaire, as to what it takes, plus I've already sponsored in the past. Everything is Ok in that part as well as to rules and things for previous sponsorship. So what should I do now?, and I'm on disability so I pass supporting my family. My question is will they return it if they can't verify something when there screening me to check my sponsor approval? Or will they ask for clarification? Keep in mine its been 5 months as of February 2, 2018. Worried and stressed.

When you say the Montreal office, are you referring to your CSQ application?

Sponsor approval occurs by the IRCC in Mississauga, which yes takes approximately 3 months from when you send the application (i.e. ~ 2 months for AOR + ~1 month for SA).

Are you sponsoring your spouse/common-law partner or another family member?

Sorry your message was a little confusing. If you provide me with some more information I may be able to help.

You're saying you are on disability? That could be an issue. Do you have any dependents other than your spouse? Also, what is your income yearly?

Disability isn't an issue. You can sponsor while on it.
That is not entirely true. While it is true that there is no income requirement, you have to prove that you have the money or the tools to support the people you are sponsoring. They are very well aware of LICO and they can still reject a sponsor while he/she is on disability if they believe he/she wouldn't be able to provide for the sponsored people.

A request for more information/documents knocks you out of the standard processing time.

Who did you previously sponsor?

Have you requested GCMS notes?

But when I called once again they said its nothing on my part they now have everything they need, and its not me that's holding up the file. They also mentioned to me at the Mississauga call centre that there's no negative comments or concerns, if this is the case why Dont they just send my approval to sponsor? .. I sponsored my ex husband, was with him for 12.5 years.
He's long a Canadian citizen some 7-8 Years now..

My husband and step daughter outland, he's in a different country.
I mailed my application sept 29,2017th. I received an email stating they recieved it on Oct 2,2017.
They requested 2 very very small things, one I had to do was on schedule A applicants where about for past 10 years, His address had to be corrected for the year saying until PRESENT. THEY weren't sure where he was because I didn't write until present. Second thing was additional family form I missed not sure how his mothers address. That's all they requested on Nov, 16, and Nov 17 ,2017. I sent them in asap.. After that I haven't heard a word or received any emails at all from them other then we will let you know once a decision is made for Sponsor approval. Anyone else wait this long???? Anything anyone can think of why I haven't gotten it yet??

My income showed 16,000$ because some if the months I was in my husband's country, also my baby bonus because some one called and lied said I was living full time out of Canada so they cut me off baby bonus all of 2016. So I had to send documents in stating from 2014- present. Which they had to adjust it all around. But I'm sure when they see I have 2 children that live with me and have all their lives I'm sure immigration will know that I also receive it. Which us 1200 per month. I get 1851$ a month on disability. So is that an issue? Considering my husband will work once he arrives and gets his work permit? If its an issue Dont you think they would have emailed me to verify or clarify any concerns LONG before 5 months of our lives being held up??

Yes, that can be an issue. You are saying you are getting roughly $3000 a month, and just to make sure, the papers you sent showed even less than that? That would be roughly $36k yearly. LICO (low income cut off) for 4 people in Canada (except Quebec) is $46,362 yearly. You are 10k short, so it is a problem. If you didn't provide any more evidence to show that you would be able to support your husband financially when he arrives in Canada, or that at least he would not have the need to go into welfare (showing savings or a plan for it), I would say that it is likely that you will not get sponsor approval. The very few cases I have seen that people take many months to hear anything about sponsor approval it is because they are refused as sponsors. I am not the most experienced member in the forum, but I believe that your income is an issue to sponsor your husband indeed. You would have needed to show a detailed plan, or explanations, and some evidence, that the four of you would be doing okay in Canada, financially speaking. If you are sponsoring your husband + your step daughter, then your family size would be 5, and in that case LICO would be $52,583, for 2018. For that one, you would be $16k off.
Oh boy, so why haven't they requested a plan or clarified or even said anything about it to me? No one has said anything, I'm sooo lost .

Or better yet ask me to get a co signer of someone also going to help me financially thing is once all my baby bonus is figured out his daughter would being also on my monthly income, as I have to claim them so I don't understand why they let people get married if their only going to tear us apart? By not putting it all together that I get more then enough to survive. With my husband and step daughter along with my own 2 children?? Why would they do this keep us apart? I'm in tears I'm so scared. We've been married 2 years together 3 .. I'm so scared.

,
Because it was something that was supposed to be submitted upfront with the sponsorship application. They are assessing whether you meet the requirements to be a sponsor or not based on what you submitted in the app. If you do some research and the homework, you can find that information in the guides, although it's not something that would be on the first page.
Ok so what's worse case scenario I have been refused, then how do I get them to Canada? Re apply? And state a plan and documents showing what's happened? I can re apply with a lawyer can I not??
