Help me, please - PGWP

I applied my PGWP in August.

My study permit expired last week: I can't do a flagpole.

I figured I forgot to attach a copy of my study permit with the application.

I submitted everything else: completion letter, apllication form, copy of my passport except my separate study permit.

If the CIC requests me an additional document, how many extra days it would usually take to get approved?
And Is there any way I can fix this problem beforehand?
