Hi guys ,

i want to apply Student Visa from Colombo. But don't know how much should i show my bank Statement?. does anyone know how much should i show in my bank account before i apply and how long should that fund stay in the account ?

Currently i am 25 years old, so will it be a problem for student visa ?

i am working as software developer but i know there is no option to migrate Canada under skilled migration in that CAT. that is the reason i am going to apply as student visa.

can anyone recommend any university for reasonable price.

another question , Can i study anything (means can i study some thing which is not related to my job now , EG: i am software developer but can i attend to hotel management or some other degree ?

BTW i am married now, will it good idea to apply both together ?

Thanks in Advance

Cheers .....

You cannot study anything you like. You are a software developer, any course you apply for in Canada as a student must be related to this field and progressive to your career otherwise a smart VO will decline you application because you will blow your cover that in reality you have immigration intent.

If you are married than you should look into the possibility of your partner applying for a student visa/permit and you than joining them later with an open work permit. This may be your best option under the current circumstances.

I shoot from the hip.
