Help!!! First Draw Application Declined Because of a System Error!!!

i think it is important to check the status of your EE profile for every update that you do. if you happen to check, the update will only be submitted and read after you sign your digital signature for every changes that you made. if you fail to do that, the update will not be viewable to the assessor.

You are still in safe place though, just make a new profile. Check everything before and after submission. And in the next draw, you are getting an invitation for sure. It feels bad to get a rejection, but you are in very safe position. Now apply before Alberta industry takes any further tumble and job security is lost. Because environmental consultancies are hit quite badly right now.

I had already uploaded IELT and ECA in letter of explanation(Feb 14). When I uploaded my docus I checked more than 5 times.

Since I sbmitted all documents on Feb 14 and submitted medical result on Feb 11, my process has never changed.

And then CIC sent cancellation message on April 24.

But I can still now see the file name which I uploaded ECA.

But CIC cancelled my application because there was not proof of education. damn it.

Why didn't CIC request a additional document?
When I created my appliction before ITA, I had entered WES#, issue date.

By the way, cancel?

Now this is really scary..!! More people are reporting that their Applciation has been cancelled because ECA is not there..

What are your next steps? What are you planning to do?

Safe or not, if I'll start a new profile, I'll give legitimacy to their process. Won't start a new one until I'll get a response from them.

totally agree with this point. I would be on the phone everday pushing them for an answer. I have also heard going and talking to you local MP can get some traction , especially if they are not conservative because they will want to be highlighting issues with the system in an election year. I had a friend who had issues with her PR last year and it turned out CIC had entered her name wrong everytime she had called them. Only when her MP got involved did she get traction.

Otherwise next step is call a journalist, they will more the gleefully take on the project that involves highlighting issues with the new immigration system, you sound like the kind of candidate most canadians will feel sorry for.

Did you upload more than one qualification for example Masters and Bachelors, I understand that you would have done ECA for highest qualification, I am assuming the officer who treated your application might assume you should do ECA for both qualifications

One important query.. In WES report that i received (the hardcopy and also the online downloadable pdf from the WES website) my ECA# is given as a 7 digit number followed by IMM (ex- ECA#: 1234567IMM). However when i login into my WES profile in their website the reference number that I am seeing there is just the 7 digit number without the suffix IMM (ie. Reference Number: 1234567)

So which is the actual reference number that we need to provide in the EE profile.. Could this be the reason that for some people the App was Rejected since CIC could not find the Reference number that they provided ?? Cosgrec can u plz confirm what was the reference number that you gave.. Is it the one with or withput the IMM suffix ??

The suffix is IMM for all ECA reports, the report number makes the difference.But you never know with CIC...

I'm so sorry to hear this and I'm hearing more cases like it too. What operating system are you guys using, or are you using Macs? I know one person who's application done with a Mac was cancelled and i'm thinking its like when visa applications first moved online, CIC could only process ones done via internet explorer, any other operating system, or Macs didn't work...
