Hi,
I am sponsoring my spouse who lives in India. I have 2 questions:
1) In application IMM 5481, it's asking for my Employer's name and address. I am an IT worker, who is employed by company X (my employer), and this company pays me my salary. My employer is providing IT services to company Y (where I provide IT services). So, basically I am always physically at company Y only, and remain there to provide IT services.
So, when the form asks for my employer's address and phone number, which address and phone number should I use?
2) In application IMM 1344, there's a residency sponsor declaration, that is asking Are you a Canadian citizen living outside of Canada (yes or no)?
In guide 3900, it says that "This section is to be completed only if you are a Canadian citizen living exclusively outside of Canada and sponsoring a spouse, a common-law or conjugal partner, and/or dependent children who have no children of their own.
You must check the appropriate box to confirm where (Canadian province, territory or the province of Quebec) you intend to live should your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner and (or) dependent children become permanent residents".
So do I leave this section blank, since I am living in Canada, and not outside of Canada. Or do I select No? Please advise.
Thank you Smiley
