Hello ,

I got an email fee days back from Cic that I did not meet my 2010 Lico requirement s for sponsoring my parents in 2014 submission but my application is being transferred to a visa office in New Delhi .

Will it be refused after the process there?

Can I submit a reconsideration for income since I meet all the Income requirements from 2011 until 2017?

Do I have a chance? Im very sad to hear this and I would not want to apply again in 2018 and wait another 3 years for my parents!!

Guys any input will be much appreciated

I need your help!!!

Yes - you can expect your application to be refused once it's transferred and CIC confirms you don't meet LICO. If you didn't meet LICO at the time you applied, then you don't qualify to sponsor your parents. There are no grounds for reconsideration.

Agree with above that you can expect a refusal. You shouldn't have applied when you didn't meet the LICO.

Did you not know that you didn't meet 2010 LICO? Why would you have applied in the first place??

I didn't know that they would check lico for 2010 I went by the financial evaluation calculation where it says I met the income requirement

I'm sending a letter to visa office with explanation and attaching all my NOAs from 2011 to 2016 hope it works out coz even if I applied in 2015 I would have qualified anyways since all my NOAS from 2011 til now exceeds what's required

Hoping for the best

It was very clear in the 2014 PGP application that the sponsor needed to meet the income requirements in 2010, 2011 and 2012 in order to qualify.

You didn't qualify and should have waited until 2015. By applying, you took a spot from someone else who did qualify that year.

Have I known that I would have waited in so sad that I'd don't know trust me I would have been more than willing to wait and apply for 2015 and also gave way I don't have to go through this m
I really hope they consider it since it also says I the guise of more than one year has elapsed since the application wa received they will reassess income

You should definitely be expecting a refusal. You have to meet the LICO requirements at the time you apply.

They wont, the lico rules were very clear. Otherwise theyll "reconsider" every other app that doesnt meet lico

This sucks for you because now the parents sponsorship process is a lottery system, meaning there's a slim chance your parents will be accepted with no guarantee due to the fact they only allow 10,000 apps and there are hundreds of thousands of applications

Your best option now is get a supervisa

This is a really sad case, unfortunately you cannot be assesed in 2015 quota as that has been met and when they use 2014 quota you did not meet 2010 LICO. In order to apply for lottery in 2018, you must withdraw 2014 app in due course

There's really nothing you can do. You should have waited until you met LICO to apply. It was pointless to apply without meeting LICO since it was certain to end in refusal.

You'll need to wait until the lottery re-opens in January 2018 and enter the lottery (assuming you now meet LICO). Once you're selected from the lottery, you'll need to start the application process again from scratch.
