There is an appeal but this will take much time. Better re-apply for the visa. Before you do, make sure you address the issue why you were previously denied the visa. Example is if they don't believe that you will come back to Nigeria, make sure you have the following:.
1. A valid purpose why you need to go to Canada
2. Strong ties to Nigeria. This refers to a job, family, assets and properties
3. Financial capability for your travel. In simple terms... Money..

There is no appeal of a TRV. Clearly stated on the IRCC website. The only option is Judicial Review which requires a Canadian lawyer, lots of money and only reviews if the decision is valid in law.

How do I get help if my visa application is refused?
There is no formal appeal process if your application for a temporary resident visa is refused.

Should you wish to re-apply, you should do so only if your situation has changed substantively or you have significant new information to submit.
