In many ways Canada is better, but the differences depend on your personal situation.

There are a lot of things in Canada that are "different", some better, some worse.
Overall, with my wife here, I am very happy.

If you rent an apartment there are also laws that say 'heat' must be turned on by DATE X and if they have A/C it must be turned on by Date Y.

Some rental properties have utilities included in the rental fee and others it will be additional.
