@capydot : I just applied few days ago for the PR . I was waiting before to get my T4 and NOA but i decided to submit the documents i have currently to show my proof of 6months experience. And I wrote IRCC why the T4 and NOA are not available at the moment.

How long does it take to finalize the pr application under Hcpp or hsw after sending the 6-month proof of experience? Share your time line for that, please.

No one knows especially now that IRCC is in great turmoil.

I came canada under HCCP as a Caregiver in 2023 and submit my work experience on 16 july 2024 ( IRCC changed changed 12 month to 6 month experience). I got adr of bank statement in September and get medical passed on 10 sept 2024 after that I have not heard anything from IRCC.

When I call ircc few days back they said..eligibility and background is done. Means all passed..

Question- I got my visa stamp till jan2026. And on work permit paper it was only for July 2025. [ i have submit my passport for renewing it is in process].

1 what i have to do if I want to quit my job ?

2 how can I extend my visa if in case I don't get any update from IRCC?

3 if I quit my job will it effect on my PR application if I tell them m unemployed. But my husband is working.

Please help.

3. No problems if you quit ( but the safe play is to resign until you finish your process)
2. you will apply for Bridge Open Work Permit using your eligibility letter close to July 2025, if your process hasn't not finished at that time
1. just quit no need to inform anybody if you already provided all the information requested to process your application (reference letter, pay stubs, t4, noa, etc)

But the thing is that I have not get any email from ircc that my eligibility is passed. I get this info when I call ircc and ask the status of my application..thn they said.. but I forgot to ask them the date..
I will.call again and will asked on which date it is passed.

I submitted proof of work experience for my cousin on Oct 8th, 2024. No response so far.

When I called IRCC, they said your application is with RROC (Otawa rapid response office) and is in stage 2 of review process but hasn't been reviewed yet.

Any update news to receive the response regarding receiving the eligibility approval.
We have submitted the application in October 2024 and till now, there's no update at all

How we can approach to IRCC to receive the information about our application?

Hi,

I have one question related to "Training requirement" (not work experience)

IRCC website says:
You must have received a credential for a relevant training of at least 6 months, within or outside Canada. The training must: be targeted towards the following National Occupational Classifications (NOCs) HCWIP: Child Care Home child care providers (NOC 44100) Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202). This does not include early childhood educators, day care teachers and supervisors.

Here is my question. Does it (the last sentence) exclude the education as well?
If I completed a college program of "Early childhood educators" (i.e. 2 years Seneca ECE program), can I be eligible for this new immigration program (HCWIP)? Again, the college diploma is for training requirement instead of work experience requirement which I do not have 6 months experience yet.

Thank you so much.
