haven't recieved the letter from CIC

checked the status for my child's farmily class application on CIC website, and the informaton is below,
but I have not recieved any letter from CIC by now, and also don't know what's the meaning of this status? the assessment of sponsor is passed,or not ??

1.We received your application to sponsor XXX on February 7, 2014.
2.We sent you a letter on March 12, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Permanent Residence
1.We received XXX's application for permanent residence on February 7, 2014.
2.Medical results have been received.

That "letter" could be in the form of an email, check your "spam" folders too. I wouldn't worry about it, it's just SA (sponsorship approval). I believe you can call to get the File#, but it seems you may already have that.

did you check all possible email accounts maybe they sent email letter.
